The owners of the property had a Cherry tree that was in decline.  The tree had been pruned badly in the past ( where the whole centre of the tree had been removed) This had left the tree imbalanced and one-sided which, in turn, had weakened the tree making it susceptible to disease. Over time the Cherry tree had developed “leaf spot” which would ultimately kill the tree.  All the foliage had become shrivelled and the customer felt that the only course of action was to remove the tree. These trees were growing in the customer’s front garden. They had grown so large that they were blocking light from entering the house. In addition, the roots were in danger of damaging the foundations of the house.
